Representative Phillips, Chair, moved and asked unanimous consent              
that the referral to the House Special Committee on Economic                   
Development & Tourism be waived for the following:                             
                                                                               
HOUSE BILL NO. 136                                                            
"An Act relating to tourism and tourism marketing; eliminating the            
Alaska Tourism Marketing Council; and providing for an effective               
date."                                                                         
                                                                               
Representative Berkowitz objected and withdrew the objection.  There           
being no further objection, the Speaker waived the House Special               
Committee on Economic Development & Tourism referral.                          
                                                                               
HB 136 was removed from the House Special Committee on Economic                
Development & Tourism and referred to the Labor & Commerce                     
Committee.
